Hello! Happy Mother’s Day weekend! As I write this it is a dark and stormy day- but it’s really pretty cool. It looks so nice against the bright spring green leaves. And the rain is falling on all of my freshly mulched flower beds. If I had gotten the peas planted in the garden I’d be even MORE happy, but that’s okay.

‘That’s okay’ has become my newest mantra, by the way. It seems to really be working too. Once again it’s that crazy time of year … Continue Reading

It’s time! It’s here! Our first wedding this year! It was held on a gorgeous April day, Alicia and Jon were ready get the party started long before the reception began. We’ve never seen a bride want so badly to get into her wedding dress! It was a great day, and I think you can see how happy everyone was to celebrate.

While the guys got a shave and a hair cut at Shaving Grace in Doylestown…

Spring time and Family time

We’re gearing up for the first wedding of the year this weekend! So I am busying myself getting back into the routine of the craziness of the season, and planned to skip this week’s blog. But Aaron would have none of that, he said “oh no, no- you’re always preaching that consistency is so important with blogs, and any social media, blah blah blah” and it’s true, therefore- you have this week’s blog! :)

Let’s begin with this family portrait session and party for Christina’s uncle. Bryan and Joe captured this wonderful account … Continue Reading

No days without laughter

Yep- that’s the snowman Aaron and Aleia built this week…the week of March 25. I love snow. I love it all winter. I wait and hope that the inches they forecast will become two digit numbers. In the winter. It’s spring now, and I would like to have warmth again. Though, even as I crave some warm sunshine, I must admit it was still a beautiful snowy day!! And gave us the wonderful opportunity to make Mr Frsoty and his snow dog/llama.

So, I have been … Continue Reading

Hello and welcome to the blog today!!! :) I have had Kermit the Frog’s voice in my head for days, so could you read that line again but hear it being said in the same voice and manner as when Kermie says, Hello, and welcome to the Muppet Show!! And then he’s going to say Please welcome tonight’s guest host, Joe Tryon of Hatboro Federal Savings, with special guests Laurie Douglass and Drew Abbate! Yayyyy!!!!! And then I exit, waving my arms in the air over my head…

Let’s begin with Joe- and the Hatboro … Continue Reading

Many Happy Lives

In Category Bucks County Photography

We all lead a lot of lives anymore. Work, home, family, friends, even our social networking personas- so many sides to all of us- and don’t forget just our own personal selves. I think we do tend to sometimes forget the ‘ourselves ‘ part with all of the other lives- and even get to to point where we think we can only be happy in a few of the lives. But, as I have been reading in a great book I just found while indulging in some quality Me Time, when we make ourselves happy, … Continue Reading

Love and chocolate- and coffee

Mmmm…. it’s Valentine’s Day and I can hardly bear the craving I have for some delicious deep dark chocolate… I really hope someone who loves me plans to give me some, so that no one needs to get hurt… ;)

In the meantime I will try to satisfy all of us with these lovely and delectable photos of Laurie’s Chocolates. Gaze upon the truffles. Love means giving truffles, people, incase there was any confusion. Truffles. Little balls of melt in your mouth chocolate covered in cocoa, filled with such deliciousness as coffee or wine, the heady flavors … Continue Reading

Human heads and monkey heads!

Good morning and happy crazy wintertime! I just want you all to know that I had a really funny title for today’s blog, and my censors all censored me!! :( It was funny. It made me giggle. It was, perhaps, just maybe a little, slightly risque… but only if you took it that way! SO here we are, with a somewhat less amusing title. I am sorry. I know many of you out there would have truly appreciated the one I wanted! ;) Though anything with the word monkey in it still makes me happy.

Well here we are, diving into yet another new year! Wow- it’s kind of scary that I can vividly remember writing the 2011 and 2012 first blogs of the year…both full of optimism that the next year would be even better! I am extremely happy to say that I was right both times- each one was better than the one before- so that means THIS year is going to be truly fantastic! Plus the fact that 13 is Aaron’s lucky number, that right there is enough for me!

There are just a few sessions from 2012 … Continue Reading
