Happy Groundhog Valentine President’s Day!!

Ohhhh the two hour snow delay!! Why? WHY?? Really, I remember WALKING to school in 6 or more inches, in a pretty darn short kilt, and everyone seemed to manage just fine. Now morning kindergarten is cut down to one hour and forty minutes on a delay day. That’ s hardly worth the effort it takes to pack everybody up and get there!!

I digress, however, because I think mostly I am upset  about  the fact that now I have less than two hours of quiet … Continue Reading

The plague is upon us!

Oh nooo! I I feel like the White Rabbit in Alice this week! I’m late, I’m late- (..and I also think I may be shrinking…) I should have had this all written already and now here I am, 2 pm on a Wednesday, just about able to sit up and keep food down after some horrible plague was cast upon our house, trying to scramble for some wit so this can go out tomorrow morning. The sick are not witty!

I think I will … Continue Reading

HAPPY 2010!!

200912251605-05570

Welcome to a New year, everyone! I am so excited about this year! I don’t even know why- I just feel so optimistic and eager to do all of the things we’ve been dreaming of doing! Even Aaron is surprised and quite possibly even a little overwhelmed by my enthusiasm. ;)

Our first full year running the studio solely, with no “real job” as a back up,  has just been so wonderful, and successful far beyond even our wildest dreams! I sit here now in our new office, lists of plans and ideas … Continue Reading

Merry Christmas to all!

Aidan's school party reindeer!

Aidan's school party reindeer!

Tis the day of the
Night Before Christmas, and all thru the house
all the creatures are stirring, like little louse!

No, no, that’s not right! ;)

We are about to throw ourselves into Festive Holiday Mode, but I will return soon to write you more of the  amazingly captivating studio adventures you have come to love!

For now, enjoy the  pictures from our celebrations these past few weeks, and … Continue Reading

Leaves, trees, and snow!

Hellooo Everybodeee!! (sometimes I like to talk like Grover when I start getting into my blog writing mode…don’t question the muse, man! )

I want to start with some leaves- I had taken some pictures of Aleia in the leaves and ran out of room last time to put them in- so here is one! I was trying to get a good leaf picture with both kids in it for a cool bag I want to get made, but Aidan was not in a posing mood, so no bag will be made yet. But I … Continue Reading

Gobble Gobble! Or – The week the ceiling fell in….

200911090943-04969

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all!! I want to thank those of you who have recently commented to me about our blog–I am so happy to hear that people (other than my family) are actually reading this!  I have loved writing  for years and have never really done any that wasn’t solely  for my own enjoyment – so to hear that there are people out there who look forward to reading about the what goes on during our sessions, or to find out about the latest bizarre happenings to our family, is … Continue Reading

Tricks and Treats!

200910311605-1802

Ahhhhhh…..at last, the highly anticipated Halloween celebrations are completed!! Maybe we throw ourselves into this holiday a little too much- we start in September,  drive ourselves crazy over the littlest details for costumes and decorations and parties, and by November 1st we lie in a heap, exhausted! But the results are always worth it- I think we had a great time this year- some of us possibly an even better time than others;).  Perhaps that is why this blog is coming out a week after all the festivities…

So, let me begin … Continue Reading

We love grandparents!

200909141123-0203

I must apologize–my blog is so far behind I don’t even know where to begin! If I start where we left off it will be 5 pages long–and that’s the condensed version! ;)   I am not known for my brevity– but I will try my best to only briefly describe the main highlights of the past 3 weeks…

Let’s see- we did a Grandparents Day shoot at my friend Crystale’s work, Brandywine Senior Living at Dresher Estates… This was so much fun- I don’t know that Aaron and I have ever been so … Continue Reading

Beat this busy week and win a prize!

200909131039-04369

Prepare yourself for a harrowing account of the busiest week ever lived. Now- if you have had one  even busier- please tell us! We will give you something– possibly a child! …

Let us begin where we left off last blog- Saturday came and Aidan, my sister and I headed to Newark airport to pick up our newest family member, Donghan He, a 17 year old exchange student from China.  So far he seems to be adapting well to life with us, which really wouldn’t be an easy task even if you are from America! The poor … Continue Reading

Summer’s End…and now Fall into craziness!

200908191233-04139

The last week of Summer always causes within me an internal struggle–sadness that the wonderful season sunshine and relaxation is done mingles with the excitement of a new school year. The crisp air (which amazingly actually turned quite crisp suddenly- right smack on September 1st this year!) and fresh new notebooks- the sight of a new clean page of fresh paper still makes me tingle! Bringing back out the sweaters and jeans, making Halloween plans, watching the apples get ready to be picked– thank goodness these things help keep me from being able … Continue Reading
